Buddha Tea Review

I had so much fun drinking tea with my daughter while writing up reviews on Buddha Teas English Breakfast & Matcha Green Tea.

English Breakfast Tea:

This traditional English cup of tea is my favorite "morning" tea. Although this tea is great on its lonesome, it is blended to go well with milk and sugar. This English Breakfast Tea produces a rich, full bodied cup of black tea with hints of malty and robust flavors. All in all, a wonderful cup of tea.

Matcha Green Tea:

This tea produces a full bodied green tea flavor with a smooth, vegetal taste. Compared to the usual powdered Matcha, this Matcha Green Tea has sweeter notes and lacks the occasional "fishy" taste that you sometimes find in powdered Matcha. This is a lovely green tea for all to enjoy.

Special thanks to Buddha Teas for being so friendly and sending me this delicious tea to taste. To find out more about Buddha Teas or to order some of their delicious tea, please visit: www.buddhateas.com or follow them on Instagram @buddhateas!

Making new tea manuals for the next tea tasting while sipping on a cup of Matcha Green Tea with a fresh orange slice.
Yummy.

How to get rid of a hangover...

I decided to have a few guests over last night for a Wine & Cheese party and woke up to a terrible hangover. That's when I decided to pull out my emergency stash of Pu-erh. Within a few hours, I felt renewed.
What is Pu-erh? Read below for more details from an earlier post...

PU-ERH
Steep 3-5 minutes (190-200 degrees boiling)

General: (aged) tea comes from Yunnan, a mist-shrouded mountainous region in southwestern China. This is the only tea that is fermented. Its flavor is exceptionally complex, woodsy, and full-bodied, with a rich earthy aroma and mild lingering sweetness. The process can use either oxidized or un-oxidized leaves. It differs by putting the withered and rolled leaves in large piles in rooms that are warmer and moister than those used in other tea productions. The lack of oxygen in the center causes fermentation to begin. The piles are stirred from time to time to ensure equal fermentation. Pu-erh teas can be aged for many years and become better with time. In recent times, tea estates have created ways to create Pu-erh without aging them to meet the large demand. Pu-erh is said to be good for digestion and hangovers. Lowers cholesterol because of natural occurring staton and also contains GABA which is good for anxiety and depression.

bridal shower tea party

Had the pleasure of throwing a Tea Party for a Bridal Shower. The tables where overflowing with delicious cookies, scones, and cakes. As for the teas, we decided to serve Earl Gray, Chamomile Vanilla, and Chai tea. Sitting on each chair was a little gift and a mask to wear while drinking tea.

the historic Caffè Florian in Venice, Italy

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting my most favorite Café in the whole entire world.
Florian opened in 1720 in Piazza San Marco in Venice, Caffè Florian is Italy’s oldest Café.
While seated in one of the café’s frescoed rooms or outside listening to the orchestra in the Piazza, one can enjoy impeccable service and products of the finest quality.
Famous for its rich history as a crossroads of art, culture, politics and entertainment, today the Florian is also known for its elegant trademark products: coffee, teas, chocolates, cookies, porcelains, and design objects.
